How might leaders today deal with the conditions caused by past organizational leadership leaving a path of human and economic devastations resulting from irresponsible and self-serving actions? Professor and Acedemic Director of the Drucker Institute Joseph Maclariello talks about this cause and effect in his address broadcast on Biola University’s “Open Biola” free open lecture series. Dr. Maclariello draws from well-known Peter Drucker’s comments about leadership authority and power. Dr. Maclariello also addresses the moral risks surfacing from leadership’s seeking ever-increasing power. He then provides us with “lessons” we can learn from our Founding Fathers about the need to correct our direction.
